Regional Cardiac System
The STRAC Regional Cardiac Systems Committee meets to provide an open, consensus-driven environment across all relevant disciplines in the development of regional guidelines, processes and educational opportunities to facilitate efficient and appropriate pre-hospital and hospital care of patients who are suffering acute cardiac events.
Hospitals and EMS agencies that have signed the Cardiac Letter of Attestation (LOA) should have a representative at the Regional Cardiac Committee meetings. Cardiac Coordinators, Cardiac Registrars, Cardiac Program Managers, ED Directors, Cardiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, Emergency Medicine Physicians, and Cardiology Medical Directors of hospitals in the STRAC region that have signed the Cardiac LOA should attend Regional Cardiac Committee meetings as well as Air and Ground EMS Command Operations, Medical Directors, Chiefs / Directors, Clinical Operations, and EMS Performance Improvement in the STRAC region.
