Logistics Technician: Reports to Emergency Preparedness and Response Division Director

• Responsible for maintenance and operational readiness of purchased equipment and supplies. Coordinate the purchase, delivery, distribution, storage and maintenance of supplies, inventory and equipment. The Logistics Specialist is an integral part of maintaining response readiness for the organization, managing inventory and ensuring all equipment is in good working order and resources to meet the mission are available.
• Other responsibilities include operation of heavy duty vehicles, truck/trailer combination, forklift and equipment/tools associated with maintenance of equipment and supplies.

Field Applications Support Technician: Reports to Field Applications Division Director

A customer-focused, technically competent professional responsible for receiving, managing, resolving and/or escalating support requests from members, customers or other employees. Utilizing various platforms, such as SQL, Microsoft suite and proprietary vendor software solutions, works with customers to resolve issues with internally developed or vendor-based applications. Able to focus on specific tasks through to completion, while remaining flexible and prioritizing tasks and projects to meet the rapidly evolving needs of fire departments, emergency medical services, hospitals, healthcare systems and other customers.

Val Verde Regional Medical Center is currently seeking a Director of EMS to lead their Emergency Services Department.

The Emergency Medical Services (EMS) director is a full-time employee with core hours of 0800-1700 Monday – Friday. Directs all emergency, trauma, medical and intra-facility transportation activities within Val Verde County. Supervises the EMS staff. Responsible for all medical licensure, clinical operations, evaluating and recommending capital purchases, and billing of EMS contractors as well as oversight of staff, education and training. Maintains performance improvement activities for EMS and actively participates in all service and quality initiatives. Develops and controls the annual EMS budget. Works with the senior leadership team to develop a strategic EMS plan. Organizes the department to meet goals and is responsible for achieving the department outcomes. Also assesses and manages medical, trauma and environmental emergencies under the supervision of on or off line medical control. Safely transports sick/injured persons to medical facilities. Oversees the Emergency Preparedness Program for the organization.


Bexar County Emergency Services District # 7 (District 7 Fire & Rescue) is accepting applications for the position of EMS Field Training Officer.

The Field Training Officer is responsible for planning and organizing EMS training for their assigned shift as well as identifying clinical trends and tracking performance across EMS providers on the shift. The FTO reports directly to the shift Battalion Chief on all daily operational matters and reports directly to the Medical Officer on all clinical operation and training matters.
The Field Training Officer, under general supervision, is responsible for delivering emergency and non-emergency prehospital patient care and transportation within his/her scope of practice.
